Scholarships are awarded every year to undergraduate engineering students by the Minnesota Professional Engineers Foundation (MPEF), the non-profit, charitable foundation of the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers (MnSPE).
We are no longer accepting scholarships for the 2017-2018 distribution cycle. The scholarship application for the 2018-2019 cycle will be available on this webpage in early fall.

Am I eligible?
Full-time undergraduate students enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program at a college or university in the state of Minnesota and have at least sophomore status or above for the current school year are eligible to apply. Seniors graduating in the spring of 2019 will be eligible.

Engineering programs at the following Minnesota schools are ABET-accredited:
- Iron Range Engineering
- Twin Cities Engineering
- University of Minnesota
- University of Minnesota-Duluth
- University of St. Thomas
- Minnesota State University Mankato
- St. Cloud State University
- Winona State University
What criteria are used to award scholarships?
Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, essay and personal statement, work and volunteer experience, and a letter of recommendation.
